Arkalyk is a city in central Kazakhstan, with a population of 27,000 people. It is located in the Kostanay Region, on the right bank of the Turgai River. The climate is continental, with long, cold winters and short, hot summers. The average temperature in January is -15°C, and the average temperature in July is +25°C. Arkalyk is home to a number of historical and cultural attractions, including the Arkalyk Museum of Local Lore, the Arkalyk Art Gallery, and the Arkalyk Drama Theatre.
