Boirodka is a city in Ukraine, located in the northern part of the Kyiv Oblast, near the Irpin River. It is a city with a rich history, having been founded in the 10th century and first mentioned in chronicles in 1159. The city grew significantly in the 17th and 18th centuries, and by the 19th century, it had become a major center for trade. The city's economy was based on agriculture, and the city was a major producer of grain and other agricultural products. In the 1920s, the city was industrialized, and it became a major center of the Soviet Union's chemical industry. The city's landmarks include the 17th-century Baroque church, the 18th-century wooden church, and the 19th-century neoclassical city hall.
