Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León (MUSAC) is an art museum in León, Spain. Dedicated to modern and contemporary art, the museum opened in 2005 as part of a larger plan to revitalize and redevelop the city. It is one of the most visited attractions in León. Designed by Emilio Tuñón Álvarez and Luis Moreno Mansilla, the museum's main building is a stark white cube that sits on the banks of the Bernesga River. The museum's collection includes works by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, and Antoni Tàpies, as well as contemporary artists such as Anselm Kiefer, Gerhard Richter, and Jenny Holzer. The museum also hosts a variety of exhibitions, concerts, and other events throughout the year.
