Rheden is a municipality and a town in the central Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. The municipality of Rheden includes the city of Rheden and the surrounding villages of Dieren, Spankeren, and Velp. Rheden is located on the Veluwe, a large forested area in the eastern Netherlands. The town is home to a number of historical buildings, including the Rheden Castle and the St. Peter's Church.
