Rubizhne is a city in eastern Ukraine located in the Luhansk Oblast. The city is known for its chemical industry and is home to the Rubizhne Chemical Plant, which produces a variety of chemicals including ammonia, nitric acid, and fertilizers. Rubizhne was founded in 1912 and was originally named Rubizhne-Lysychansk. The city was renamed Rubizhne in 1938. During the Soviet era, Rubizhne was a major industrial center and was home to a number of factories and plants.
