Soledad de Graciano Sánchez is a city in the central Mexican state of San Luis Potosí. It is part of the metropolitan area of the state capital, San Luis Potosí City. The city was founded in 1592 by Spanish conquistadors and was originally known as Soledad de las Salinas. It was renamed in honor of Graciano Sánchez, a Mexican revolutionary who fought against the French occupation of Mexico in the 19th century. Soledad de Graciano Sánchez is an important industrial and commercial center, and it is home to a number of factories and businesses. The city is also a popular tourist destination, and it is known for its beautiful churches, museums, and parks.
