Mykolaiv is a city in southern Ukraine, located at the confluence of the Southern Buh River and the Black Sea. It is the administrative center of the Mykolaiv Oblast. The city has a population of around 500,000 people. Mykolaiv is a major industrial and shipbuilding center. It is also home to a number of historical and cultural attractions, including the Mykolaiv Art Museum, the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore, and the Mykolaiv Zoo. The city is also known for its beautiful architecture, including the Mykolaiv Cathedral, the Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration building, and the Mykolaiv City Hall.
